Music and the other fine arts are vital to our enrichment as humans. We can gain knowledge and help provide others with a worthwhile activity. Whether on the stage, in film, or via other media, the arts can help us to strengthen our bonds with other people of many ages and cultures. Some studies have revealed a reduction in crime in areas where the fine arts are studied. Fine art includes painting, sculpting, acting, designing, dance, music/composing, and many other fields. We can do our part to help this cause by supporting the arts through donations, volunteering, and speaking out about the importance of the fine arts.
