In today’s fast world of high technology, it is easy to overlook the printed word. The internet is wonderful in this digital age, but nothing can ever replace reading actual books. Sometimes it seems the bookshelves at home are getting quite heavy, but this is a good thing. Through the years, I have been fortunate enough to collect quite a few books through the years. My oldest is an 1874 edition of Charles Darwin’s The Descent of Man.
