Our Earth is a place that we are all fortunate to inhabit. Nature is alive and beautiful in humans, flora and fauna. There are 4000+ known plant species to date, many thousands of years old. New species of flora and fauna are being discovered quite often. Modern science is constantly studying medicines and new treatments for our ailments, often finding cures. We can do our part to help our environment by doing such acts as recycling, conserving fuel and energy, and protecting our wildlife. Speaking up about these concerns helps to keep the issues in the public light. To realize and act upon the importance of taking care of our earth and its inhabitants is the circle of life: our earth is the strongest when all strive together with mutual concern and respect for this wonderful planet and all of its inhabitants.
