While the sciences and other university majors are important, so is the school of fine arts. Performing arts, communications, and theatre programs include stage acting, costume design, stage and property management [stagecraft], directing, and many other areas. From personal experience, I can assure all that majoring in the fine arts is definitely not choosing an “easy” major.
