Ole Miss wins Egg Bowl 2012

What an exciting NCAA football game! Ole Miss has won the Egg Bowl, and defeated Mississippi State University for the first time since 2008. Needless to say, head coach Hugh Freeze is “the man” about Oxford (called “O-town” by many people in Oxford). The 22 Rebel seniors on the team can now graduate having beaten MSU. This win makes Ole Miss Bowl-eligible. The game was very intense, and both teams played great football. Ole Miss’ defense was a force to be reckoned with for sure, as was their offense. In the end, Ole Miss won. I remember my days at Ole Miss, and the excitement of football games. “O-town” is not very large geographically speaking, but there is more than enough team spirit there for sure. Well done, Rebels. What a great victory. Image:kakisky|Morguefile
